Makita BDF452 Driver Drill Review
If you’re looking for a light weight and efficient driver drill, then you might want to take a look at the Makita BDF452. Although it is lighter than the other driver drills, such as the makita 6935fd, its usefulness is assured because of its wonderful features.
One of its major features is its weight and size, measuring in at only eight inches in length and weighing 4.1 lbs, compared, to other driver drills in the market, like the lct204w, it is light, very light. It also comes with a soft and rubberized easy grip means that no matter how light it is, you are still in total control. makita 18v bdf452
The lack of weight is not the only thing going for it, the package also includes a tool belt clip so you can wear it around your waist whenever you want. And it comes with a custom case so you can take it out of the house without having to worry about damaging it.
The built in L.E.D. light means you can just as easily use it at night or in darker areas of the house which operates automatically when you press the trigger. LED’s are a great feature that many of the Makita’s, such as the ls1013fl have. Although there is a built in L.E.D. light, the battery will not let you down as the BDF452 comes equipped with an 18 Volt LXT Lithium-Ion battery which is considered to be top of the line. These batteries are fantastic and lots of models like the hr3000c feature them. An ENERGY STAR approved charger is also included which features a 30-minute Rapid optimum charge cycle. It’s guaranteed to do all the work for you as it has a micro chip which enables it to control the temperature of your battery as well as the current and the voltage, ensuring a long and useful life.
Despite its small stature, the BDF452 has a maximum torque of 450 in. lbs and a PTI torque of 285 in. lbs.
It also has a low, no load speed of 0-400 RPM and a high no load speed of 0-1,500 RPM which is definitely saying something since the Makita BDF452 is smaller than other driver drills, especially when compare to the makita 5007f or the 6095d. This 2-speed design allows you to execute a variety of driving and drilling applications with utmost precision.
