From my observations it seems alot of people love wacom but the one i can afford is quite small so i was wondering if it would be an obstacle... any advice would help

Most people are going to suggest Wacom because is a superior brand. But I'm going to be very honest with you in this situation. Size for a tablet is not going to matter, they all provide the exact same functions if it is small or large.
Most of the time you are going to be doing small strokes while your screen is zoomed into whatever you are drawing. The best part about having a small tablet is portability. I have a 19"x22" tablet, the thing is massive and hard to lug around. I've used a tablet like a 3.5x 5 and it works just the same.
My advice would be to get the Bamboo, just because the price is the best and you don't need anything bigger.
